Charles F. Duvall

Charles Farmer Duvall (November 18, 1935 – October 8, 2020) was an American bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast from 1981 to 2001.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 1957.

He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in 1982 and from Sewanee: The University of the South in 1986.

[2] On November 15, 1980, in St Paul's Church, Mobile, Alabama, Duvall was elected as the second Bishop of the Gulf Coast.

[5] Duvall died in Columbia, South Carolina on October 8, 2020, at the age of 84.
