García spent the entire 2011–12 season in the D-League playing for the Sioux Falls Skyforce and Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

[6] On October 30, 2016, García was selected by the Austin Spurs in the fourth round of the 2016 NBA Development League Draft.
[7][8] On April 20, 2018, Garcia signed with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association as their import for the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The season was capped off with a 4–0 finals sweep of Taiwan Beer, giving the Braves their first SBL Championship in team history.
