Charles Kent (18 June 1853 – 21 May 1923)[1] was a British-American stage actor and silent film actor and director.
He came to the United States in 1875 at the age of 23, and died on May 21, 1923, after a long-lasting illness, and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
[4][3] Kent was "a veteran stage actor" before he began working in films[5] having been on stage for 50 years.
[6] He began working with Vitagraph Studios in 1908.
[5] Kent died on May 21, 1923, in a hospital in Brooklyn, aged 69.
