Charles M. La Follette

Charles Marion La Follette (February 27, 1898 – June 27, 1974) was an American lawyer and politician.

[1] His great-grandfather was William Heilman, who was in the United States House of Representatives from Indiana.

He served as a Republican in the United States House of Representatives during the 1940s and took part in the post-World War II Nuremberg Trials.

After his military service, La Follette studied law at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and was admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association in 1925.

His body was cremated and the ashes interred at Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana.
