Mayser was the head wrestling coach at Iowa State from 1916 to 1923 and at Franklin & Marshall from 1924 to 1946.
Mayser served three two-years stints as the head football coach at Franklin & Marshall College: 1913 to 1914, 1924 to 1925, and 1944 to 1945.
