Charlotte is a town in Chautauqua County, New York, United States.
[2] Charlotte is centrally located in the county, north of Jamestown and south of Dunkirk.
The fire continued to burn until July 1995 and forced the evacuation of local residents and the temporary closure of a nearby school.
