Chaudière-Appalaches (French: [ʃodjɛʁ apalaʃ], Quebec French: [ʃoˈd͡zjaɛ̯ʁ apaˈlaʃ])[2] is an administrative region in Quebec, Canada.
It is named for the Chaudière River and the Appalachian Mountains.
[3] Chaudière-Appalaches has a population of 420,082 residents (as of the Canada 2016 Census) and a land area of 15,083.25 square kilometres (5,823.68 sq mi).
