Chauntra is a small village in the Sri Muktsar Sahib district of Punjab, India.
[citation needed] The coordinates 30°31′32″N 74°34′59″E / 30.52556°N 74.58306°E / 30.52556; 74.58306 are the centre of the village, located in the Sri Muktsar Sahib district in the Indian state of Punjab.
[2] In 2001, according to the census, the village had a total population of 1,099 with 190 households, 577 males and 522 females.

Punjabi is the official and local language of the village.
