Cheltenham railway station is located on the Outer Harbor and Port Dock lines.

It originally had a ticket office and toilets either side of the current shelter, but they closed in 1986.

[2][3] Originally, all regular services stopped at Cheltenham station, but since 25 August 2024, only services to Port Dock and Osborne stop at Cheltenham, with most Outer Harbor trains bypassing it.

[4] The station shelter and seatings were replaced in 2017.
