Chen Mingyi (simplified Chinese: 陈明义; traditional Chinese: 陳明義; pinyin: Chén Míngyì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tan Beng-gi; born August 1940) is a politician in the People's Republic of China.
Chen was born in Fuzhou, Fujian Province.
He graduated from the Department of Naval Architecture at Shanghai Jiaotong University, obtaining a master's degree.
From January to September 1993, he was the vice governor of Fujian Province.
From October 1996 to December 2000, he was the secretary of CCP's Fujian committee.
