Chestnut Hall

Chestnut Hall, formerly known as Hotel Pennsylvania, is a 10-story building composed of 315 apartments as well as retail space in University City, Philadelphia.

It is designed in the Renaissance Revival architecture style.

The building consists of a steel structure, a cement and brick facade, and an entablature with accompanying cornice along the top.

[6] In June 2006, Aimco bought a majority stake of the property.

In 2020, it was contributed to Apartment Income REIT Corp., which was acquired by funds managed by The Blackstone Group.
