Chidester (/tʃɪ.dɪ.stər/ CHIH-di-stir) is a city in northwest Ouachita County, Arkansas, United States.
[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.3 square miles (14 km2), all land.
The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
[4] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 253 people, 112 households, and 66 families residing in the city.
The racial makeup of the city was 57.5% Black, 41.8% White, 0.3% Native American and 0.3% from two or more races.
