The 2023 season is his 17th year as a company member at the Alley Theatre in Houston.

[1] During his five years at the Alley Theater, Hutchison has performed in over twenty productions,[1] including A Behanding in Spokane (Mervyn),[5] [6] Mauritius (Dennis),[7][8] The Lieutenant of Inishmore (Padraic),[9] Death on the Nile (Simon Mostyn),[10] Subject to Fits (Ippolit),[11] Proof (Hal),[12] and A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit).
He mostly appears in anime titles for ADV Films and Seraphim Digital/Sentai Filmworks.
Hutchison is married to fellow Alley Theatre Resident Acting Company member Elizabeth Bunch and has 2 children.
