Chris Young (rugby league)

Christopher Young (c. 1945 – 19 December 2016) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s.

Chris Young's birth was registered in Hull district, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.

He died aged 71 from cancer,[3] and his funeral service took place at Haltemprice Crematorium, Hull, on 28 December 2016, followed by a reception at the Half Moon public house in nearby Skidby.

Along with Keith Howe of Castleford, with 34 tries, Chris Young was the top try-scorer in the Championship First Division during the 1966–67 season.
