She represents the electoral district of Vancouver-Little Mountain as a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party (BC NDP).
She is a founder and director of the Self Care Project, focusing on fostering resilience for activists,[7] and Spirited Social Change.
[11] In 2018, Boyle participated in a day of faith-based protests against the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline in Burnaby, BC.
[13] She ran alongside Brandon Yan after winning the OneCity Vancouver candidate nomination in June 2018.
[19] On April 4, 2024, Boyle was nominated to run for the seat of Vancouver-Little Mountain for the New Democratic Party of British Columbia in the 2024 provincial election.
