Chung Hom Kok

It is a popular site for barbecue and swimming with a beach and lifeguard services available from April to October.

[1] West of Stanley, Chung Hom Kok is referred to as the most southern point on a peninsula.

[3] Government Communications Headquarters established a signals intelligence centre at Chung Hom Kok in the late 1970s and consolidated operations there in 1982;[4] the site closed in 1995.

[7] Chung Hom Kok Battery [zh], located at the southern end of the peninsula, was built around 1938.

SUNeVision Holdings, the largest data centre provider in Hong Kong, constructed two carrier-neutral cable landing stations at Chung Hom Kok since 2020.
