Ci'en Temple (Chinese: 慈恩寺; pinyin: Cí'ēn Sì) is a Buddhist temple located in Shenhe District of Shenyang, Liaoning, China.
[1][2] Ci'en Temple is the site of the headquarters of the Shenyang Buddhist Association.
[3] Ci'en Temple was first built in 1628, during the reign of Chongzhen Emperor in the late Ming dynasty (1368–1644).
In 1912, abbot Buzhen (步真) began to rebuild the temple.
Occupying an area of 2,995 square metres (32,240 sq ft), Ci'en Temple has 135 buildings and halls.
