Claude Erskine Farrer (15 September 1864 – 16 February 1890) was an English tennis player.

[1] He played singles at Wimbledon in 1882 and 1886 but lost in the first round to Ernest Browne (6–0, 6–2, 6–0) in 1882 and Edward J. Avory (6–3, 6–2, 6–2) in 1886.

In 1885 Farrer and Stanley reached the final, to lose 6–3, 6–3, 10–8 to the Renshaw brothers, Ernest and William.

Along the way they beat A. Dunn and C. Liddel (6–4, 6–4, 6–4) in the first round,[2] Michael G. McNamara and R. M. Wile (6–2, 4–6, 6–3, 8–6) in the quarter-finals, and Charles Ross and William Taylor (6–3, 8–6, 6–2) in the semi-final.

Farrer reached the semi-final with Chipp in 1888 (losing to Ernest Meers and Andrew Ziffo 6–2, 7–5, 1–0).
