Clyde Taylor Ellis (December 21, 1908 – February 9, 1980) was an American educator, lawyer and politician who served two terms as a U.S. Representative from Arkansas from 1939 to 1943.
He was the first general manager (CEO) of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Washington, D.C., from January 1943 until his retirement in September 1967.
It is semi-autobiographical and describes relevant contributions from many of the greatest proponents of rural electrification that Ellis came to work with in his career.
