Coalfield is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Morgan County, Tennessee, United States.

Coalfield is between Wartburg and Oliver Springs on Tennessee State Route 62.

To the west are Frozen Head State Park and the community of Joyner, Tennessee.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 2,361 people, 960 households, and 795 families residing in the CDP.
