Cochylimorpha straminea, the straw conch, is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae.
It is found in most of Europe,[2] Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Asia Minor, the Palestinian territories, Iraq, Syria, Armenia, Transcaspia, Turkmenistan[3] and Iran (the Elburz Mountains).
The ground colour is whitish-ochreous, clouded and strigulated with darker and a few dark fuscous scales on costa.
There is an ochreous-brown streak from the dorsum before the middle and parallel to the termen, reaching rather more than half across the wing.
[6] There are two generations per year, with adults on wing from May to July and again from late August to September.
