Colerain, North Carolina

Colerain is a town in Bertie County, North Carolina, United States.

[5] On April 16, 2011, the western side of the town was hit by an EF3 tornado that killed 12 people and caused extensive damage.

[6][7] The Garrett-White House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

[8] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.27 square miles (0.7 km2), all land.

32.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
