2001 (2001) (as Higher College of Technology) University Of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) (Arabic: الجامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية) is a public university operating in 9 governorates in Oman.

It has 11 different branches spread over the different part of the country.

It was the first Higher Education institution and is the largest in Oman,[4] with over 46,000 students.

As of January 2021[update], the UTAS has 46,230 students.

The College of Technology had seven branches.
