Conostylis resinosa

Conostylis resinosa is a rhizomatous, tufted perennial, grass-like plant or herb in the family Haemodoraceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.

Conostylis resinosa is a rhizomatous, tufted, perennial, grass-like plant or herb that typically grows to height of 15–40 cm (5.9–15.7 in) and is similar to C. aurea.

[2][3][4] Conostylis resinosa was first formally described in 1987 by Stephen Hopper in the Flora of Australia, from specimens he collected north of the Murchison River in 1975.

[6] This conostylis grows in yellow sand in heath and scrub between Kalbarri National Park and near Arrowsmith in the Avon Wheatbelt, Geraldton Sandplains and Yalgoo bioregions of south-western Western Australia.

[2][3] Conostylis resinosa is listed as "not threatened" by the Western Australian Government Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
