The 2008 Pakistani general election saw a shift as Abdul Rasheed Godil of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement – London (MQM) secured a victory with 87,280 votes.
Godil also won in the 2013 Pakistani general election, again representing MQM, with 91,339 votes.
Abdul Rasheed Godil of Muttahida Qaumi Movement won by 91,339 votes and became the member of National Assembly.
