The Consulate General is part of a worldwide network of Canadian diplomatic and trade offices, including more than 15 across the United States.

Canada is the largest export market for Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin, larger than Mexico, China, Brazil, Australia, and Japan combined.

Canada is also the largest foreign supplier of oil, natural gas, electricity, and uranium to the U.S.
