Cooper Sharman

Sharman was a participant the Auskick program at Leeton[1] in the Riverina District of New South Wales where he played for the Leeton-Whitton Crows as a junior and was also a part of the GWS Giants Academy.

Following high school, Sharman moved to Melbourne where he studied business and commerce at Deakin University.

Sharman's form at Balwyn earned him selection for the Oakleigh Chargers where he finished with 20 disposals, five marks and one goal on debut.

Sharman replaced injured defender Dougal Howard in the second half, earning his first real AFL match.
