Cordyline congesta

A rare shrub up to 3 metres (9 ft 10 in) tall found on the margins of rainforest, and in riverine scrub and moist gullies in eucalyptus forest.

Growing north from the Clarence River, New South Wales.

Small white to mauve flowers form on panicles.

Fruit an orange-red berry, 10–15 millimetres (0.39–0.59 in) in diameter, ripening from December to March.

This species propagates easily from seeds, suckers or stem cuttings.
