Cornas

Cornas (French pronunciation: [kɔʁnas]; Occitan: Cornàs) is a commune in the département of Ardèche in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southern France.

The name is Celtic for "burnt land."

The region is famous for wine, which is designated Cornas AOC.
