Cosmo Iacavazzi

Cosmo Joseph Iacavazzi (some sources say Cosmo Iacovazzi, born August 18, 1943) is an American former professional football player for the New York Jets of the American Football League (AFL).

A fullback, he played college football at Princeton University and was a member of the Tiger Inn eating club.

After graduating from Princeton, he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1965 NFL draft, but played professionally in the AFL for the New York Jets in 1965; Iacavazzi was on the roster for two games.

The street block in front of West Scranton High School was renamed Cosmo Iacavazzi Way before the 2005 football season.

The Scranton Miner's team was owned by Cosmo Iacavazzi Jr.
