County Carlow (Parliament of Ireland constituency)

County Carlow was a constituency representing County Carlow in the Irish House of Commons, the lower house in the Irish Parliament of the Kingdom of Ireland.

In the Patriot Parliament of 1689 summoned by King James II, County Carlow was represented with two members.

[1] When the Acts of Union 1800 merged the Irish Parliament into the United Kingdom Parliament with effect from 1 January 1801, County Carlow sent to two MPs to the United Kingdom House of Commons.
