Cranberry is a township in Venango County, Pennsylvania, United States.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 7,014 people, 2,843 households, and 2,066 families residing in the township.

There were 3,054 housing units at an average density of 43.4 per square mile (16.8/km2).

There were 2,843 households, out of which 31.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.2% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.3% were non-families.

24.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
