Crawford, Queensland

Crawford is a locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.

[1] The locality takes its name from the Crawford railway station named by Queensland Railways Department in 1904, named after engineer Hugh Ralston Crawford who supervised the construction of the Wondai-Kingaroy railway.

[5] In 1911, it was moved to its current position and renamed Crawford State School, opening with 29 students.

[13][14] In 2018, the school had an enrolment of 36 students with 3 teachers and 6 non-teaching staff (3 full-time equivalent).
