Crawford Township, Coshocton County, Ohio

Located in the northeastern corner of the county, it borders the following townships: Part of the village of Baltic is located in the northeastern corner of Crawford Township.

Crawford Township contains the unincorporated community of Chili.

[4] It was likely named for Associate Judge Crawford, a landowner.

[5] Statewide, the only other Crawford Township is located in Wyandot County.

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
