The team is owned by food company Rebisco and named after its Creamline Creamy Ice Cream brand.

The Creamline Cool Smashers made their Premier Volleyball League (PVL) debut at the Reinforced Open Conference in 2017 with Thai coach Tai Bundit as their first head coach.
