Cuatro Caminos (Madrid Metro)

[4] The station is the deepest in the Madrid Metro system, with its Line 6 platforms located 45 m (148 ft) below street level.

[11][12] The platforms are the deepest in the system, and are located beneath Raimundo Fernández Villaverde street east of the roundabout.

In 2004–2005, an underpass was constructed for automotive traffic underneath the roundabout, replacing a previous overpass.

[13][14] Renovations included tunnel repairs, cleaning, and waterproofing, the installation of rigid overhead lines, and other work.

Starting 14 September 2016, Cuatro Caminos was temporarily used as a terminus for Line 1 when service was reestablished between the station and Plaza de la Castilla.
