Curtis Trishton Taylor (born July 13, 1985) is an American former professional football safety who was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL draft.
He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU).
Taylor was also a member of the Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Mountain Lions, Arizona Cardinals, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers Taylor was drafted in the seventh round, 219th overall pick, by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2009 NFL draft.
After re-signing with the team and spending time on the practice squad, Taylor was elevated to the active roster on December 10, 2013, after a season-ending injury to safety Tyrann Mathieu.
[8] His younger brother is former San Diego Chargers safety, Brandon Taylor, who was selected by the Chargers in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft after also playing for Louisiana State.
