Lucas MacFadden[2] (born October 4, 1972),[3] better known as Cut Chemist, is an American DJ and record producer.

[6] Cut Chemist graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 1997.

[7] Cut Chemist became known through the Los Angeles-based rap group Unity Committee.

[9] In a 2006 interview with Billboard, he stated that he had left the group in order to get his solo album finished.
