Cypress Lakes was a former census-designated place (CDP) and current unincorporated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,468 people, 861 households, and 519 families residing in the CDP.

There were 973 housing units at an average density of 873.7 units/km2 (2,263 units/sq mi).

In 2000, there were 861 households, out of which 1.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.5% were married couples living together, 2.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.7% were non-families.

36.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 32.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
