"Daddyz Girl" is the eleventh episode of the first season of the American television comedy drama Shameless, an adaptation of the British series of the same name.
The series is set on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, and depicts the poor, dysfunctional family of Frank Gallagher, a neglectful single father of six: Fiona, Phillip, Ian, Debbie, Carl, and Liam.
According to Nielsen Media Research, the episode was seen by an estimated 1.10 million household viewers and gained a 0.5/1 ratings share among adults aged 18–49.
Frank (William H. Macy) is horrified to discover that he has lost his worker's comp benefits, forcing him to find a new job.
They meet with another, Clayton (Kristoffer Winters), who is a very kind person despite his wife refusing to acknowledge Ian as his son.
Steve (Justin Chatwin) tries to steal a car, only to be caught and arrested by Tony (Tyler Jacob Moore).
Club was largely mixed in his review, mainly criticizing the decision to introduce new storylines in the penultimate episode: "I was left with the lingering question of why I'm seeing these story elements now.
