Dakota, Wisconsin

Dakota is a town, as well as an unincorporated community in Waushara County, Wisconsin, United States.

It was named for William and John Bannerman, two Scottish men who owned the area's granite company.

There were 693 housing units at an average density of 20.9 per square mile (8.1/km2).

22.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
