Dalton is a village in Wayne County, Ohio, United States.
Dalton had its start in 1855 with the merging of three neighboring rival villages in Sugar Creek Township named Dover (est.
[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.51 square miles (3.91 km2), all of it land.
