He is 1.98 m (6 ft 6 in) in height and plays at the shooting guard and small forward positions.

In the seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12 with PBC Lukoil Academic he won the Bulgarian Basketball League.

An MRI later revealed that Damjan tore the ACL in his knee and would miss the rest of the season.

On 3 September 2016, he got injured again during a EuroBasket 2017 qualifiers in the match between Macedonia and Great Britain.
