Daniel Troy (1897 - 18 December 1953) was an Irish hurler.
[2][3] Troy's performances at club level resulted in his inclusion on the Limerick senior hurling team.
He soon won a Munster SHC medal before lining out in Limerick's defeat 9-05 to 1-03 of Wexford in the 1918 All-Ireland final.
[4] Troy sustained a serious injury during the game which resulted in a prolonged period of absence from both club and inter-county hurling.
[5] Troy died suddenly on 18 December 1953, at the age of 56.
