Daniel Hayward Veatch (born April 18, 1965) is an American former competition swimmer who represented the United States at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.
[2] He won the 200-meter backstroke at the Pan Pacific Games in Brisbane in 1987[3] and again in Tokyo in 1989.
Trials for the 1992 Summer Olympics and so missed those Games.
Veatch was the first masters swimmer to reach 6000 yards in one hour.
