Daniel Lopes (born 12 November 1976) is a German-Brazilian singer and songwriter.

Lopes was born in Brazil and adopted by his German stepfather.

During the show, he dated fellow contestant Juliette Schoppmann.

His album For You (on CD and DVD, produced by Frank Farian) was released in February 2003, while the competition was still going on.

Lopes released 2 singles off of For You: "Shine On" and "I Love You More Than Yesterday".
