[6][5] Daniel Steres grew up a fan of the LA Galaxy, with his favorite players being stars Cobi Jones and Mauricio Cienfuegos.

He made his debut for Los Dos on March 22, scoring once in a 3–1 win over Orange County Blues FC.

[17][21] He started both of Los Dos's playoff games as they reached the semifinal, losing 3–2 to eventual champions Sacramento Republic.
