Daniel Wilcox (born March 23, 1977) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Baltimore Ravens.
On December 17, 2002, Wilcox was signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers active roster where they went on to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
[citation needed] In 2003, he started and played in two games, recording one special teams tackle before being released by the Bucs in week three.
In the 2005 season he played in 13 games making three starts before an ankle injury placed him on the injured reserve list.
Wilcox showed off his nice hands with a one-handed touchdown catch in week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2008 season.
