Daniele Libanori

Daniele Libanori SJ (born 27 May 1953) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who is an official of the Roman Curia as Pope Francis' supervisor of Consecrated Life.

He began his career with several years as a parish priest and a decade as rector of the seminary of the Archdiocese of Ferrara.

He served as a university chaplain in L'Aquila from 1993 to 1997 and then spent a year in the Jesuit community in Naples for further formation experience.

[3] He received his episcopal consecration in the Lateran Basilica on 13 January 2018 from the Vicar of Rome Angelo De Donatis, with Bishops Gianrico Ruzza and Andrea Turazzi as co-consecrators.

[4] He was assigned responsibility for the central sector of the Diocese and named the diocesan delegate for the clergy and the seminaries on 24 May 2019.
