Danielle Murphy (born 4 June 1981) is an English former footballer who played as a defender or midfielder for Millwall Lionesses, Charlton Athletic, Watford and Barnet.
[1] She made her Premier League debut at 14[2] and won the 1997 FA Women's Cup, playing alongside fellow 15-year-old Katie Chapman.
[10] After participating in 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification,[11] Murphy retired from international football to concentrate on her studies in America.
[5] Murphy was allotted 127 when the FA announced their legacy numbers scheme to honour the 50th anniversary of England’s inaugural international.
[9][12] Murphy attended Beaverwood School for Girls[8] and graduated with a degree in sociology from the University of Florida.
